Gen. 1:27-28, 31 NLT

So God created human beings in his own image.

In the image of God he created them;

male and female he created them.

Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!

Deut. 11: 18-22 NLT

“So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. God is not a man, so he does not lie.

He is not human, so he does not change his mind.

Has he ever spoken and failed to act?

Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

1 Samuel 15: 29 NLT

“And he who is the Glory of Israel will not lie, nor will he change his mind, for he is not human that he should change his mind!”

1 Timothy 3:4-5, 11

He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church? In the same way, their wives must be respected and must not slander others. They must exercise self-control and be faithful in everything they do.
